Government Consulting and Valuation Advisory Group

The Government Consulting and Valuation Advisory (GoVal) Group provides valuation services including market studies, GIS and demographic analysis, feasibility analysis, rent comparability studies and appraisal services for market-rate and affordable housing properties, both for sale and rental, throughout the country.  During the past ten years, the firm has consulted on over 8,000 projects nationally.  GoVal group does approximately 1,200 market studies and feasibility analysis per year, and since 2004 approximately 8,000 market studies and feasibility analysis have been completed nationwide.   Many of the studies are done for developers who provide them to numerous state agencies.  Others are done for syndicators or directly for state and local agencies.  As a result, GoVal has the experience and capabilities to meet the needs of a variety of clients, including government agencies.

The GoVal group offers a team of market study analysts, with experience ranging from three to twenty-five years in market research and appraisals of multifamily rental housing; analysts’ expertise includes urban planning, market research, demographic and economic impact analysis, GIS services, public private ventures, and housing and community development. In addition, junior-level researchers support staff with significant experience and training in affordable housing and market-study research.
